The present invention relates to a digital device and to a method for controlling the same, and more specifically, to a method for sharing an image to at least one individual included in the image while displaying the number of shares and the number of captures in the case of recognizing at least one individual included in the displayed image. The digital device includes a camera unit which senses the image, a display unit which displays the image, a storage unit which stores the image, a communication unit which transfers the image, a sensor unit which detects user input and transfers an input signal to a processor according to the detected result, and a processor which controls the camera unit, the display unit, the storage unit, the communication unit, and the sensor unit. |
