Provided are a method and an apparatus for determining a motion vector when encoding and decoding a video. A method of decoding a video according to the present invention includes the steps of: determining one or more values of the second sample used for correcting the value of the first sample between the first sample and the second sample which have different color components when a first sample is one of a luma sample and a chroma sample and a second sample is the other; determining a set of filter coefficients according to a band including the value of the first sample among bands determined by partitioning the total range of sample values at predetermined intervals; filtering the values of the second sample determined by using the determined set of filter coefficients; and correcting the value of the first sample by using a value obtained through the filtering step. |
