<p>The present invention aims to provide an apparatus to seal a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle which seals a stopper of the PET bottle with polyethylene fabric to prevent cracks from being generated, thus maintaining a sealing effect. The present invention relates to the apparatus and a method to seal the PET bottle using the polyethylene fabric. The apparatus comprises: a PET bottle transferring device (10) which joins a mold joining bar (16) connected with a mold (17) with a chain (14) using a joining tool (15), and then supplies PET bottles (80) in two rows; and a sealing device (50) which includes a cutting knife (55) attached thereto, cuts sealing paper, is installed in an inner diameter of the cutting knife (55), and seals the PET bottle (80) by joining a sealing bar (56) with an elastic axis (55a) joined with a spring (55b) on a joining bar (54).</p> |
