<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flicker detection method and a flicker detection apparatus.SOLUTION: The flicker detection method includes: a step for calculating an average value of selection rows of an image flame and constituting an average value vector; a step for calculating a difference vector between an average value vector of a present frame and an average vector of the just preceding frame; a step for calculating a DC component-removed vector obtained after subtracting a DC component of the difference vector from respective elements of the difference vector; a step for constructing first and second rectangular waveforms and third and forth rectangular waveforms; a step for calculating a first frequency reference value; a step for calculating a second frequency reference value; and a step for determining existence of a flicker in the present frame when a difference between the first frequency reference value and the second frequency reference value is larger than a first threshold, and in the other case, determining no existence of a flicker.</p> |
