摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently synthesize a target layered compound.SOLUTION: A method for producing an electrode active material includes a synthesis step of using an aqueous solution containing an organic skeleton component and a sodium component and synthesizing a target layered structure as an electrode active material. The organic skeleton component contains an aromatic compound that is dicarboxylic acid having two or more aromatic ring structures, and, for example, 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid is preferable. The sodium component contains sodium, and, for example, sodium hydroxide is preferable. The target layered structure has: an organic skeleton layer containing an aromatic compound that is dicarboxylic acid anions having two or more aromatic ring structures; and a sodium layer in which sodium is coordinated with oxygen included in carboxylic acid anions to form a skeleton.</p>
