PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for restraining heat reception of a working refrigerant.SOLUTION: A rotary compressor comprises: a closed vessel 1 having oil storage at a bottom; a cylinder 30 arranged inside the closed vessel 1; a piston 32; a first end plate member 34; a second end plate member 35; a vane 33 for blocking a cylinder chamber 50 into an intake chamber 49 and an emission chamber 39; an intake passage 40 for supplying a working refrigerant to be compressed to the intake chamber; and a muffler chamber 51 that is provided on the first end plate member side, and in which the working refrigerant emitted from the emission chamber 39 can reside. An oil holding part 53 provided on the second end plate member side and taking one part of the oil in the oil storage is constituted into an approximate annular shape, so as to provide an efficient rotary compressor in which heat reception of the working refrigerant is restrained. |
