PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle behavior control device that can make a vehicle's behavior corresponding to a driver's brake power request approximate to a vehicle's behavior which occurs actually, and to provide a vehicle behavior control method.SOLUTION: When a brake power request from a vehicle driver necessary to generate a friction for suppressing a vehicle body's behavior is detected with respect to a vehicle equipped with brake power transmission paths on a plurality of lineages, a brake drive power distribution ratio of a wheel's brake power to a drive power is calculated to give the drive power from a brake liquid pressure generation source to at least one wheel by using only power transmission paths on a part of the plurality of lineages in accordance with the size of a brake power which the driver requests, and further the brake power is given to the wheel on the basis of a brake power command value calculated in accordance with the distribution ratio of the calculated brake power. |
