PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact rotary tool which can detect a fastening torque with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: An impact rotary tool comprises: an impact force generation part 17 which converts power of a driving source into pulse-like torque and generates impact force; a spindle 21 which transfers the pulse-like torque to a tip tool by the generated impact force; a shaft torque sensor 26 and a shaft torque measuring part 41 which constitute a torque measuring part for measuring a measurement torque as a torque applied onto the spindle 21; a rotary encoder 27 and a rotation angle calculation part 42 which constitute a rotation angle measuring part for measuring a rotation angle of the spindle 21; a torque measurement part which calculates an angular acceleration based on the measured rotation angle and calculates fastening torque on the basis of the angular acceleration and the measurement torque; and a control part 30 for controlling a motor 15 on the basis of the fastening torque.
