The additional lighting equipment for road vehicles has a three position control connected to the main lighting system. It overcomes many of the drawbacks of the normal type of installation. It enables full beam, dipped beam lamp position to be obtained and also front and rear fog lamps. The first position gives long range lighting and a second gives the fog lighting when the main switch is in the full beam or dipped beam position. Two conductor bars (A,B) are connected to give headlamp feed and three conductor bars (C, D. E) are joined to give fog lamp feed front and/or rear.
