PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load of data transfer from a camera head unit to a main unit.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional image processor is provided with a head unit and a controller unit. The head unit includes: light projecting means for projecting light, entering from an oblique direction relative to an optical axis of imaging means, as structured illumination of a predetermined projection pattern; the imaging means for imaging a plurality of pattern projection images by obtaining light that is projected by the light projecting means and is reflected at an inspection object; distance image generating means capable of generating a distance image on the basis of the plurality of pattern projection images imaged by the imaging means; head-side storage means for holding the distance image generated by the distance image generating means; and head-side communication means for sending the distance image held by the storage means to a controller unit. The controller unit includes: controller-side communication means for communicating with the head-side communication means; and inspection executing means for executing predetermined inspection processing on the distance image received by the controller-side communication means.
