PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial machine radio controller that has achieved both convenience and energy conservation.SOLUTION: An industrial machine radio controller includes: a communication unit 10 that is capable of radio communication with an industrial machine M and repeatedly receives a signal representing the state of the industrial machine M from the industrial machine M; light-emitting elements 11b, 11c for displaying the state of the industrial machine M on the basis of the signal received by the communication unit 10; and a light-emitting control unit 13 for periodically updating the light-emitting states of the light-emitting devices 11b, 11c. The light-emitting control unit 13 determines whether the communication unit is wirelessly connected with the industrial machine M or not, and sets the update cycle of the light-emitting elements 11b, 11c to a first cycle if it determines the communication unit is wirelessly connected with the industrial machine M. On the other hand, the light-emitting control unit 13 sets the update cycle of the light-emitting elements 11b, 11c to a second cycle longer than the first cycle if it does not determine the communication unit is wirelessly connected with the industrial machine M. |
