<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load upon a server or to improve job efficiency of a manager by suppressing a quantity of error notifications in automatic registration processing.SOLUTION: A document management system comprises: document data holding means for holding document data together with hierarchy information to be stored; automatic registration setting data holding means for holding shared folder information for acquiring a document, hierarchy information for storing the document and mail transmission information in the case of error; error notification data holding means for holding a notification state of a processing error in document registration; and automatic document registration means for registering a document file from a shared folder by means of the document data holding means in accordance with automatic registration setting data held by the automatic registration setting data holding means. The automatic document registration means includes: a function for preventing the error notification from being performed in the case where a notification is performed with respect to an incurred error and the similar error continuously occurs for the unit of automatic registration setting data, and a function for resuming the error notification in the case where no error occurs for the unit of the automatic registration setting data any more.</p> |
