<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly calculate the area or area ratio of a layout pattern on the basis of graphic data in a vector format with a low arithmetic load.SOLUTION: A display data development part 31 develops graphic data DF in a vector format in a layout data storage part 10 to a memory part 32 on the basis of an instruction of a display instruction input part 25, and generates image data DL for layout in a raster format. A display control part 33 displays this on the screen of a display device 40. A pixel value reading part 51 performs access to the memory part 32 to read the pixel value of each pixel, and a pixel determination part 52 determines whether each pixel is an internal pixel or external pixel of a graphic. A pixel number counting part 53 counts the number of internal pixels, and an area information presentation part 54 calculates the area ratio of a graphic displayed on a display at present time on the basis of the number K of internal pixels, and calculates an actual area S by an arithmetic operation: S=ΔS×K by using a unit actual areaΔS corresponding to one pixel.</p> |
