<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which is compact as a whole and offers a wide view angle and nonetheless requires less aberration correction for correcting image blur, and which can maintain high optical performance even when used in an anti-shake mode.SOLUTION: The zoom lens comprises, in order from the object side to the image side, first through third lens groups having negative, positive, and positive refractive power, respectively, an aperture stop, and fourth and fifth lens groups having negative and positive refractive power, respectively, where distance between each adjacent pair of lens groups changes while zooming, and the third lens group has an anti-shake lens section which moves in a direction having a component perpendicular to an optical axis to provide image blur correction. A focal length fw of the entire system at the wide angle end, a focal length fis of the anti-shake lens section, a distance Dis from an image-side lens surface of the anti-shake lens section to the aperture stop on the optical axis, and a distance DLw from a most object-side lens surface to a most image-side lens surface on the optical axis at the wide-angle end are each set appropriately.</p> |
