PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-accuracy burst detection.SOLUTION: An analyzing apparatus includes: receiving means which receives stream data; storage means which stores the received stream data; input means which receives burst detection of predetermined data from a burst detector which detects a burst where the predetermined data appears highly frequently in the stream data; factor analysis means which analyzes a factor for appearance of the data by referring to stream data obtained a predetermined period before the burst detection, from among the stored stream data; and output means which outputs control information on a criterion for the burst detector to detect a burst, to the burst detector, on the basis of the analyzed factor.
