PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving device that is able to precharge without separately providing a precharge resistor and is able to reduce the arrangement space and cost of the precharge resistor.SOLUTION: A pair of arms, upper and lower, of a plurality of upper and lower arms, is connected between an electrolyte capacitor 60 and a battery 50 in parallel. A relay contact RL, which is on/off controlled by a controller 90, is provided between the pair of arms, upper and lower, and the electrolyte capacitor 60. The controller 90 duty-controls the switching element A of the upper arm of the pair of arms, upper and lower, while the relay contact RL is kept off during precharge. The controller 90 precharge the electrolyte capacitor 60 by off-controlling the switching elements B-F of all the remaining arms. |
