PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector structured so that cards different by sizes are discriminated and any of the cards can be fitted to one card insertion slot without using a tray and an adapter.SOLUTION: A housing 20 and a cover 21 are arranged with a gap having a size approximately corresponding to one card, to constitute therebetween a connector storage body 56 so that any of at least two kinds of memory cards 51 and 52 different by sizes can be inserted from one card insertion slot 50. A slider 22 comprising a guide plate 34 is assembled in the connector storage body 56, and a card storage recess 55 is formed with the guide plate 34 and a side wall of the connector storage body 56. The card connector is so configured that the size of the card storage recess 55 can be changed in accordance with the sizes of the memory cards by moving the slider 22 while fitting projections 35 provided on the guide plate 34 to slide holes 42 provided on the slider 22. |
