PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapse prevention device for a briquetted article capable of reducing generated powder and sufficiently removing volatile substance such as moisture, and a calcination reduction apparatus and a calcination reduction method for a steel by-product.SOLUTION: The collapse prevention device for a briquetted article is provided in which powdery substance is molded into a briquette by a briquetting machine 22, a briquetted article 21a is transferred by transfer means 23a, 23b, and the briquetted article is prevented from collapsing when the briquetted article is charged into a box 24 for transferring the briquette. The collapse prevention device for a briquetted article includes a slope 30 which can absorb impact due to falling of the briquetted article and is provided downstream from the transfer means and immediately above the box for transferring the briquette. After charging the briquette into the box for transferring the briquette, the briquette is charged into a calcination box, the briquette is heated and calcined, and the calcined briquette is charged into an arc type electric furnace together with coke, thereby reducing valuable metal. |
