REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE FOR COLUMNAR STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure for a columnar structure such that damage after an earthquake disaster can be easily confirmed and repaired.SOLUTION: As reinforcing steel plates arranged at an outer periphery of a column 10, a reinforcement structure for a columnar structure uses: first reinforcing steel plates 20A and 20B which are connected circumferentially and detachably by engagement or fastening; and a second reinforcing steel plate 20C united circumferentially by welding. The first reinforcing steel plates 20A and 20B are arranged in 1D to 2D sections (D: column sectional height) on a ridge coupling side of the column 10 where a plastic hinge is formed, and the second reinforcing steel plate 20C is arranged in the other section (center part).
