<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake operation actuator for a vehicle, which is compact and has excellent mountability.SOLUTION: An electric brake operation actuator for a vehicle includes: a pair of turning shafts 42 provided in parallel with each other; a transmission member 44 for transmitting rotational force output from an electric motor 32 to the pair of the turning shafts 42 as moving force in a plane direction perpendicular to the turning shaft 42; a pair of gears 46 mounted turnably on the pair of the turning shafts 42 respectively in a state of being engaged with each other; and hook members 48, 50 for hooking an inner wire 16 of a brake cable 14 to the gears 46 in a position and a direction in which the inner wire 16 is pulled by the movement of the pair of the turning shafts 42 corresponding to the rotational force output from the electric motor 32. Due to a simple structure which is easily mounted on a brake and the like into which a parking brake lever is incorporated, it is possible to pull the inner wires 16 on both wheels with equal tensile force, and the brakes on both wheels can be operated simultaneously and efficiently.</p> |
