The present invention relates to a housing having a lance. The frame of the housing (10) of the present invention is formed on a housing body (12). A securing space (14) is formed to be penetrated in front and rear of the housing body (12). A terminal securing unit (16) to form a penetration hole (18) is formed inside the securing space (14). A cutout unit (19) is formed on the terminal securing unit (16) to penetrate the penetration hole (18) and the securing space (14). A lance (24) to be integrated with the housing body (12) is formed inside the securing space (14). The lance (24) has an extension leg unit (28) to be extended from the housing body (12) and a connection unit (30) is disposed on the end of the extension leg unit (28). A holding unit (32) to be projected toward the extension leg (28) is formed on the connection unit (30). The holding unit (32) is a part to be held to a holding hole (42) of a terminal (40). The holding unit is moved with the extension leg unit (28) when the extension leg unit (28) is transformed elastically since the holding unit (32) is integrated to be connected through the extension leg unit (28) and the connection unit (30). An interworking incline surface (29) is formed on the extension leg unit (28) by guiding the external surface of a relative component (50) and transforming elastically the extension leg unit (28). According to the present invention, the holding unit of the lance (24) is not separated from a terminal (40) so as to minimize the number of housing components and maintain the terminal (40) securely when the relative component (50) is inserted. |
