PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of partially reducing the contractive force in both abdominal-side band member and back-side band member and additionally suppressing the sagging of an abdominal-side part in an absorbent body due to the weight after urine is absorbed in the abdominal-side part in the absorbent body.SOLUTION: An absorbent article is formed of an absorbent body 10, an abdominal-side band member 30a, a back-side band member 30b, and a waist opening and leg openings. The part of the abdominal-side band member 30a overlapping the absorbent body in the vertical direction is made larger than the part of the back-side band member 30b overlapping the absorbent body in the vertical direction. The abdominal-side band member 30a has abdominal-side continuous elastic members 35a disposed continuously in the horizontal direction, and abdominal-side discontinuous elastic members 35na disposed discontinuously in the horizontal direction. The back-side band member 35b has back-side continuous elastic members 35b disposed continuously in the horizontal direction, and back-side discontinuous elastic members 35nb disposed discontinuously in the horizontal direction. The sum total of the contractive force of the back-side continuous elastic members 35b is greater than the sum total of the contractive force of the abdominal-side continuous elastic members 35a. |
