PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake temperature detector capable of detecting a brake temperature more accurately.SOLUTION: Two kinds of energy calculation temperature rises, that is, kinetic energy calculation temperature rise and braking energy calculation temperature rise, are calculated in fade warning processing. The optimum one of the two kinds, that is, the kinetic energy calculation temperature rise and the braking energy calculation temperature rise is selected for use according to a slope road form. Thereby, a brake temperature obtained by the calculation can be made closer to an actual brake temperature. This prevents fade warning from being performed because an erroneously calculated brake temperature exceeds a fade determination threshold. |
