PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a junction method of a deformation absorption member and a separator capable of joining a base material part of the deformation absorption member and the separator sufficiently with each other without generating a gap in abutment parts thereof.SOLUTION: A junction method of a deformation absorption member 20 and a separator includes mutually joining the deformation absorption member including a tabular base material part 21 and a plurality of pieces 22 rising from the base material part and any one of an anode-side separator 11 and a cathode-side separator 12. In a supporting step of the junction method, while supporting the base material part of the deformation absorption member by using protrusions 211a in a protruding shape, in the state where the rising pieces of the deformation absorption member are accommodated by using a recess 211b in a recessed shape between the neighboring protrusions, the base material part of the deformation absorption member and the separator are pressed against each other and supported. Further, in a junction step of the junction method, abutment parts W of the base material part of the deformation absorption member and the separator are joined with each other. |
