PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restraint device for an occupant of a vehicle in which comfortableness is satisfied, and protection performance against injury in the event of an accident has been improved.SOLUTION: A restraint device 106 for an occupant 102 of a vehicle 100 includes: a restraint belt 108 formed for surrounding at least one body area 110/112 of the occupant 102, which can be or has been integrated into closing 104 of the occupant 102 at least partially; and a coupling element 114 formed for releasably connecting the occupant 102 to the vehicle 100, which can be coupled or has been coupled to the restraint belt 108.
