PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seasoning composition in a powder form or in a granular form, which includes 5 to 30 wt.% fat, a base material for containing fat, and polyol, and further includes an umami component in certain instances.SOLUTION: The seasoning composition in a powder form or in a granular form includes 5 to 30 wt.% fat, a base material for containing fat (dextrin, starch, and/or crystalline cellulose), and polyol, and further includes an umami component in certain instances, capable of retaining the powder or granular form, with low leaching of fat. Preferable examples for use as the base material for containing fat include dextrin, starch, and/or crystalline cellulose. Preferable examples for use as the umami component include a chemical seasoning (amino acid and nucleic acid), a yeast extract, a vegetable extract, and a meat extract. |
