PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller capable of uniforming a pressing force during a contact with an image support and generating a uniform bias between the conductive roller and the image support, and an image forming device including the conductive roller.SOLUTION: A charging device 32 has a charging roller 32A rotatably supported. The charging roller 32A includes a roller body 51 constituted of a conductive rubber material around the periphery of a rotary shaft 52. Narrow grooves 53 are formed on both side walls 54 of the roller body 51 in the axial direction. The narrow groove 53 linear-shaped and straightly extended in a radial direction from a rotary shaft 52 is extended to a position before the surface of the roller body 51 and is not reached to the surface of the roller body 51. Four narrow grooves 53 are formed in the side wall 54 and are radially extended in the radial direction from the rotary shaft 52.
