<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of preventing inconvenience which could occur due to incompatibility between an image formation condition and the water content of a sheet from being brought in.SOLUTION: The image formation device comprises: a temperature/humidity sensor 31 for measuring the temperature or humidity at a place of installation; a memory 32 for storing the temperature or humidity measured by the temperature/humidity sensor 31; an arithmetic unit 33 for calculating an absolute humidity from information about the temperature or humidity stored in the memory 32; and a CPU 20 that exerts control for changing the value of a voltage applied to a transfer roller 5 when the amount of reduction in the absolute humidity from a second time till a first time is larger than a predetermined first threshold, the first time representing a time at which an instruction for an image formation operation is received, the second time representing a time traced back from the first time by a predetermined time.</p> |
