PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an installation cost and an installation area of heat treatment equipment by enabling the heat treatment equipment to selectively perform oil hardening and water hardening using a single device.SOLUTION: Heat treatment equipment includes: a heat treatment furnace 11; a hardening oil tank 12 which has an oil hardening part 22 performing oil hardening of a heat treatment object 16, and can comprise an oil hardening execution route passing the heat treatment object 16 to the oil hardening part 22 and an oil hardening non-execution route not passing the heat treatment object to the oil hardening part 22; and a hardening water tank 13 which has water hardening parts 29, 38 performing water hardening of the heat treatment object 16, and can comprise a water hardening execution route passing the heat treatment object 16 to the water hardening parts 29, 38 and a water hardening non-execution route not passing the heat treatment object to the water hardening parts 29, 38. The heat treatment equipment further includes control means 40 for switching between an oil cooling conveyance mode in which the heat treatment object 16 carried in from the heat treatment furnace 11 is carried out through the oil hardening execution route and the water hardening non-execution route, and a water cooling conveyance mode in which the heat treatment object 16 carried in from the heat treatment furnace 11 is carried out through the water hardening execution route and the oil hardening non-execution route. |
