PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surrounding monitoring device for a work machine, which can monitor the front area of the work machine without blocking its view by a front attachment.SOLUTION: A surrounding monitoring device 100 for a work machine 10 with a front attachment 19 and machine bodies 13 and 14 comprises a first imaging unit 131 provided on the machine bodies 13 and 14 on one side of the front attachment 19, a second imaging unit 132 provided on the machine bodies 13 and 14 on the other side of the front attachment 19, an imaging device 130 that captures an image of the front area of the work machine, including a part of the machine bodies 13 and 14, an image generation device 110 that generates a virtual viewpoint image by converting an image captured by the imaging device 130 into a top view, and a display 120 that displays the virtual viewpoint image generated by the image generation device 110. The display 120 displays a partial image, which shows a part of the work machine 10, superimposed on the virtual viewpoint image so that the virtual viewpoint image can be viewed through the partial image. |
