PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which offers a smaller holder and no wobbling of a barrel.SOLUTION: A lens barrel 1 has a holder 2 fixed to a substrate 90, a barrel 3 having lenses 30a and 30b housed therein mounted in the holder 2, and a cap 4 mounted on the barrel 3, thereby allowing the cap 4 to secure the lenses 30a and 30b inside the barrel 3 while allowing an O-ring 5 sandwiched between the cap 4 and the holder 2 to exert stress on the cap 4 in a direction away from the holder 2 (forward direction). Thus, screwing the barrel 3 to the holder 2 and the cap 4 to assemble the lens barrel 1 produces secure engagement of threads 22, 31, 32 and 43, which prevents the barrel 3 from wobbling against the holder 2. |
