PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and a communication method that are able to easily register a relay access point.SOLUTION: A communication device includes: communication means for performing radio communication with an opposite communication device; identification means for identifying an access point which the communication means is able to communicate with; transmission means for transmitting information indicating the access point identified by the identification means to the opposite communication device via the communication means; reception means for receiving, via the communication means, information designating an access point from the opposite communication device to which the information indicating the access point was transmitted by the transmission means; and registration means that registers the access point corresponding to the information received by the reception means as an access point via which communication passes when the communication device operates in an infrastructure mode. |
