<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person to intuitively recognize a distance to a sound source, regardless of whether or not the person's field of vision includes the sound source.SOLUTION: A sound reproducing system has: a reproduction part which receives an acoustic signal showing sound emitted by a sound source and provides the sound reproduced from the received acoustic signal to the sense of hearing of a person; a presentation part which provides the sense of vision of the person with a stimulus of intensity changing as the intensity of sound shown by the acoustic signal changes; a first calculation part which calculates a distance between the sound source and the person on the basis of information showing a position of the sound source and information showing a position of the person; and a control unit which performs control to change a time difference between a first timing at which to give sound to the person's sense of hearing by the reproduction part and a second timing at which to give a stimulus to the person's sense of vision by the presentation part in accordance with the distance calculated by the first calculation part.</p> |
