PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a configuration on the relay site side, in a video generating system which generates a video which synthesizes a CG video with a relay video.SOLUTION: A video generating system includes a relay site side device used at a relay site and a broadcast station side device used at a broadcast station. The relay site side device is provided with transmission means for transmitting a video signal corresponding to a video captured by a camera at the relay site and camera data including position information and lens information of the camera, to the broadcast station side device. The broadcast station side device is provided with: reception means for receiving the video signal and the camera data transmitted by the transmission means of the relay site side; CG generation means generating a CG video on the basis of the camera data; and CG synthesizing means for synthesizing a video corresponding to the video signal and the CG video.
