PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope system or the like capable of clearly analyzing a single cell form a desired direction.SOLUTION: A microscope system for analyzing a single cell includes: a microscope; at least one microplate that has a principal surface that is placed in a culture vessel mounted on the stage of the microscope and can bond only one cell, and contains a magnetic material; and magnetic field generating means. The magnetic field generating means is configured to be capable of moving the microplate to a desired position and/or an angle.
