<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base capable of preventing misalignment of an optical fiber due to thermal shrinkage of solder with a minimal increase in processing cost.SOLUTION: A base includes a first metallized layer 12 formed on an upper surface 10a and a second metallized layer 14 extending outward from one side of the first metallized layer 12, where the second metallized layer 14 has a maximum width equal to or less than a length of the one side of the first metallized layer 12 in a direction perpendicular to an extending direction of the second metallized layer 14 and has a portion having a width that is less than the length of the one side of the first metallized layer 12 in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the second metallized layer 14.</p> |
