PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aid for being used when such a person hardly capable of leaning forward as a fat person, a pregnant woman, an aged person or a physically handicapped person puts on socks.SOLUTION: An aid comprises a body part 2 and a handle part 3. The body part 2 is made of a thin sheet of plastics and the like capable of being rounded. A nonslip tape 4 with a high coefficient of friction is stuck on a bottom surface. A sock 5 is attached in a rounded state to the body part 2. A user's foot is inserted into a space 6 of the rounded body part 2; the handle part 3 is pulled; and the body part 2 is extracted so that the user can put on the sock 5.
