PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device that enables a detection of distortion of a virtual image by a head-up display device without need for a windshield as an inspection jig.SOLUTION: In an inspection device inspecting an output image 16a to be output from a head-up display device 10, the inspection device includes: a control part 120 that causes the output image 16a to be formed based on an inspection image 15b having a plurality of inspection points provided at an outer peripheral part, and to be output from the head-up display 10; a camera 130 that is disposed on an output axial line in which the output image 16a is output, and directly photographs the output image 16a; and an inspection part 140 that calculates a position coordinate of the plurality of inspection points in a photographing image 130a obtained by the camera 130, compares the calculated position coordinate of the plurality of inspection points with a position coordinate of a plurality of reference inspection points corresponding to the plurality of inspection points in a preliminarily determined reference image 140a, and determines appropriateness of the output image 16a. |
