PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit a collision load of a side face collision inputted into a side sill of an automobile to a front side frame and a floor frame, and to enhance side collision performance.SOLUTION: A vehicle body structure of an automobile comprises: a cross member 23 which connects rear parts of a pair of left and right front side frames 11 in a vehicle width direction; a pair of left and right floor frames 12 arranged in a fore-and-aft direction at rear parts of the pair of left and right front side frames 11; a pair of left and right connecting members 41, 42 which connect rear ends of the pair of left and right front side frames 11 to front ends of the pair of left and right floor frames 12; a pair of left and right side sills 13 arranged in the fore-and-aft direction along a vehicle side part; and a pair of left and right outriggers 43 which connect the pair of left and right connecting members 41, 42 to the pair of left and right side sills 13. By this constitution, when a collision load of a side face collision is inputted into the side sills 13, the collision load can be dispersed to the front side frames 11, the floor frames 12 and the cross members 23 from the outriggers 43 via the connecting members 41, 42, and side collision performance is improved. |
