<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously achieve "strength improvement of a box body", "increase of connection box capacity under a height limitation", "enlargement of an area covering an upper side of an opening" and "simplification of a structure" by mounting a box door to the upper side of the opening of the box body via a horizontal rotary shaft and extending the box door downwards from the box body.SOLUTION: A connection box comprises: a box body 2 for accommodating an electric device D; and a freely rotatable box door 3 for opening/closing an opening 2a on a front face of the box body 2. At an upper side of the opening 2a of the box body 2, the box door 3 is mounted in a freely rotatable manner via a rotary shaft 4 extending in a substantially horizontal direction. When the opening 2a of the box body 2 is closed, a lower edge of the box door 3 is positioned lower than a lower edge of the front face of the box body 2.</p> |
