<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device which can easily adjust an absorption member for energy absorption at a secondary collision while reducing the size of the absorption member which absorbs energy at the secondary collision.SOLUTION: A steering device 1 includes an engagement part 52 which can move to a downstream side in a prescribed moving direction A at a secondary collision, a fixing part 45 fixed to a vehicle body 2, and an absorption member 9. The absorption member 9 includes a fixed part 46 fixed to the fixing part 45, an engaged part 47 opposing the engagement part 52, and a connecting part 48 which includes a curved part 54, and connects the fixed part 46 and the engaged part 47. An area of a cross section 54 of the curved part 54 along a plane orthogonal to a creepage direction B along the curved part 54 differs depending on a position in the creepage direction B. The absorption member 9 absorbs energy at the secondary collision by deforming the connecting part 48 by the engagement of the engagement part 52 and the engaged part 47.</p> |
