<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light emitting device which uses a semiconductor laser as a light source and can achieve outgoing beams having a uniform luminance distribution and a uniform chromaticity distribution.SOLUTION: In a semiconductor light emitting device, a light guiding body 50 composed of a light diffusion member 52 having a salient 53 and a wavelength conversion member 60 is fixed by bonding via an adhesive 65 to a bottom 41 with a through hole 42 of a fourth holder 40 having the bottom and an opening in a manner such that the salient 53 is fitted into the through hole 42, and light diffuse reflective member 67 is filled so as to cover a circumference of the light guiding body 50. As a result, by causing laser beams radiated from a semiconductor laser 1 to be incident from the salient 53 of the light diffusion member 52, diffusion light having a color phase different from that of the laser beams can be obtained from the wavelength conversion member 60.</p> |
