<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device capable of suppressing erroneous determination for life of a discharge lamp.SOLUTION: A control circuit 10 controls a lighting state of a discharge lamp 100. When the discharge lamp 100 is turned on, it is determined whether or not a time equal to or less than a predetermined value in a current value of the current flowing through the discharge lamp 100 continues for a predetermined time (S60). Also, the control circuit 10 counts the number of times determined that the predetermined time continues (S70). Then, when the number of counted times reaches a plurality of times set in advance, the control circuit 10 determines that the discharge lamp 100 terminates the life span (S110).</p> |
