In the present invention, disclosed is a connector assembly for board-to-board. The connector assembly for the board-to-board according to the present invention includes a receptacle connector which includes a receptacle body which has an inner space to receive a plug connector and a plurality of receptacle contacts which are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the receptacle body, and the plug connector which includes a plug body which is inserted into the receptacle body and a plurality of plug contacts which are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the plug body. When the receptacle connector is connected to the plug connector, the receptacle contact is in contact with the plug contact one-to-one. A first locking metal element and a second locking metal element are formed on both ends thereof in the longitudinal directions of the receptacle body and the plug body, respectively. When the receptacle connector is connected to the plug connector, a locking function is provided by mutual coupling. The first locking metal element includes a pair of locking units which are located on both ends of the receptacle body and protrude to face in an inner direction on both sides of the inner space. The second locking metal element includes a pair of connecting units which are connected between the pair of locking units of the first locking metal element on both sides of a transverse direction near both ends of the plug body. |
