PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing capable of well suppressing the amount of lubricating oil to flow into the bearing while securing the required rigidity of a cage, and to provide a power transmission device using the same.SOLUTION: The tapered roller bearing includes an inner ring 31, an outer ring 40 arranged on the same center line along the outer periphery of the inner ring 31, a plurality of tapered rollers 50 rollably arranged in an annular space between an inner ring raceway surface 32 and an outer ring raceway surface 41, and a cage 60 for holding the plurality of rollers 50. At the end of the cage 60 located on the small-diameter side of the inner ring raceway surface 32, a small-diameter side annular part 61 is formed. On the small-diameter side annular part 61, a seal member 70 is provided which has a lower hardness than the cage 60. The seal member 70 has a lip part which comes in slide contact with or comes close to at least one peripheral face out of the outer peripheral face of the inner ring 31 and the inner peripheral face of the outer ring 40. |
