PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent insufficiency of toner regulating force without increasing the size of a device to suppress scattering of toner, and enable easy assembly of a magnet body as magnetic material to a regulating blade without causing defects in assembly in relation with a seal member.SOLUTION: A developing device 122 includes a developing roller 53, regulating blade 81, seal member 82, and a magnet body 83. The magnet body 83 and regulating blade 81 are formed to have, at a portion where magnets 831 and 832 constituting the magnet body 83 are arranged opposite to each other with a gap, a distance between the end of at least one of the magnets 831 and 832 and the regulating blade 81 larger than the distance at portions other than the opposing portion in the longitudinal direction of the regulating blade 81. |
