<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring packing enabling dropping to be prevented even if an annular groove having a rectangular section is used, and enabling a sufficient hermetic sealing characteristic to be attained.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a ring packing 11 having a circular section that is installed in an annular groove 10 having a rectangular section formed at a connecting surface of one element so as to make a tight seal against connecting surfaces between elements connected to each other characterized in that a pair of protrusions 14a, 14b protruded at both sides in a radial direction of the circular section are arranged at a proper location in an extending direction of the ring packing 11, a diameter length W of the pair of protrusions 14a, 14b is formed to be larger than a groove width of the annular groove and a pair of recesses 15a, 15b are formed at the outer circumferential part of the ring packing 11 at a location where it is crossed at a right angle with a line connecting the pair of protrusions 14a, 14b.</p> |
