摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably continue operation while downsizing resistance by appropriately suppressing generation power of a wind power generator when power cannot be supplied to a system any more in the case of system voltage reduction.SOLUTION: A power conversion device for wind power generation comprises: a power generator side converter 2 for conversion into DC power; a system side converter 3 for converting DC power into AC power and supplying the AC power to a system power source 4; and a chopper 5 connected to a DC circuit between both the converters 2 and 3. Under a normal operation mode in which a system voltage is equal to or higher than a preset value, the power generator side converter 2 is operated in accordance with a predetermined torque command, and DC voltage control is performed by the system side converter 3 in such a manner that a DC voltage detection value of the system side converter 3 is matched with a first DC voltage command value. When the system voltage is reduced and becomes lower than the preset value, the normal operation mode is switched to a system voltage reduction operation mode in which control for suppressing generation power of a wind power generator 1 by controlling a torque command of the power generator side converter 2 is made more preferential than control of the chopper 5.</p>
