<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving characteristic determination system capable of determining characteristic of driving by a driver with high accuracy based on surrounding images imaged by a camera loaded on a vehicle.SOLUTION: The characteristic of a user's driving of a vehicle 1 is determined based on surrounding images imaged by a vehicle loaded camera 2 of a vehicle 1. A vehicle loaded communication device 10 transmits information obtained from: a vehicle loaded camera 2; a vehicle speed sensor 3; an acceleration sensor 4; and a GPS receiver 5, etc.; as well as operation information of an accelerator or a winker, etc., to a driving characteristic determination device 40. The driving characteristic determination device 40 determines the driving characteristic by detecting an occurrence of an event regarding travelling of the vehicle 1 based on imaged images by the vehicle loaded camera 2 received from the vehicle loaded communication device 10 and whether or not appropriate driving operation is carried out based on the imaged images by the vehicle loaded camera 2 received from the vehicle loaded communication device 10. The driving characteristic determination device 40 carries out acceleration operation determination, lane change winker operation determination and right and left turns winker operations determinations, etc., based on the imaged images by the vehicle loaded camera 2.</p> |
