PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy in mismatch detection on a transmission route.SOLUTION: A mismatch detection method includes: (A) identification processing for identifying the structure of inspection data according to a superposition condition between a time when a first packet among a plurality of packets, which are included in the inspection data transmitted to-and-fro through a transmission route including a plurality of sections, is transmitted in a predetermined section on the return route and a time when a second packet among the plurality of packets is transmitted in a predetermined section on the forward route; (B) transmission processing of the inspection data to the transmission route according to the identified structure; and (C) determination processing for determining the mismatch of the transmission method on the transmission route, on the basis of the state of an inspection data loss returned from the transmission route. |
